Ben LavenderAFA, BCom, CFPCM
PRIVATE INVESTMENT ADVISER
Ben joined Private Wealth Advisers in January 2015 after ten years in the banking industry. Ben completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Canterbury including 2 semesters studying at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He has also attained the Certified Financial Planner designation as well as being an Authorised Financial Adviser.
Working in a boutique financial advisory firm means that Ben’s clients are given substantial flexibility when developing their retirement or financial strategy, “we start with a blank sheet of paper and build a solution to meet the needs of what our clients want, we don’t pigeon hole our clients into a pre-determined solution”. This allows clients with a high level of engagement to be actively involved in the creation of their portfolio.
Ben can offer the following services:
Retirement planning
Individually tailored investment portfolio construction
Advice on wealth creation and cashflow management issues
Ben has followed suit of the other two advisers and has been mountain biking for the past 18 months. He enjoys sailing the Hauraki Gulf on his father’s 7.7 Tracker. He has 3 young children which occupy most of his time outside of the office.
